Important Safety Guidelines
- Supervision only: Ultra Plus collars must only be worn while your dog is on-leash and supervised. Do not leave the collar on when not in use or when your dog is tied out.
- Hands off prongs: Never grab the prongs with your hands.
- Correct fit matters: Prongs should rest gently on your dog’s neck for even pressure. Adjust by adding or removing links as needed.
- Proper placement: Always unfasten one link to put the collar on, then refasten around your dog’s neck — never slide it over the head. Position so the O-ring/swivel is at the top.
- Regular checks: Frequently check link tension and fit to ensure correct function. Retighten links if necessary.
- Extra safety: We strongly recommend using a safety line with all training collars.
