Demanet Bite Suit

Demanet bite suits are made to measure with bespoke sizes and colours. Once we receive your order you will be sent a sizing chart to complete, spend a little time measuring up for your suit to ensure a good comfortable fit. Please ensure you state the type of suit you require -Training, Semi Training, Semi Competition and Competition . Manufacturing time from receipt of completed sizing sheet is up to 13 weeks.

Demanet Bite Suits are considered to be one of the best bite suits on the market today. The Demanet company is internationally known for the expertise, the design of its suits. They manufacture a complete range of suits for French, Belgian and world ring programmers as well as for the armed forces and police in France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, Holland, Switzerland and the United States.

Demanet bite suits are designed with professional K9 trainers, ring sport competition training and military and police training in mind. This suit has a great balance of being moderate in weight and offers great mobility.

Demanet suits are for dogs of advanced levels of bite training or for the more advanced decoys who require a more flexible suit that still offers more protection than competition level suits.

Listed below is a general guide to the options available with the Demanet suits.

Training weight suit – gives most protection but with less mobility, a general training suit ideal for police work with all round protection, ideal for bringing on new decoys or if your training with multiple dogs taking lots of bites.

Semi training suit - our most popular is similar to the training suit but with less protection and more mobility. Recommended for the more experienced decoys whilst still giving good protection you will be more comfortable by using our neoprene arm sleeves under the suit.

Semi competition suit – designed as a competition/trial suite still giving good protection but recommended for the experienced decoys, very good mobility but you will feel the bite so extra protection under suit is recommended. This type of suit is normally used for the French ring/ Mondio trials.

Competition weight suit – designed for trial work, very light weight and flexible for the most experienced decoy offering abdicate protection to stop serious injury only really ever used for competition work not recommended as a training suit.

Hidden/Kevlar Suits - This suit is designed to teach the dog to bite civil. Concealed suits are not used to train the bite, they are only used to see if the dog would bite effectively in a civil situation. Once the dog is sure on biting the concealed suit, you should return to the normal bite suit for continuation training and just occasionally return to the concealed suit. The suit is made with Kevlar lining and limited padding, it's not possible for the dog to penetrate but you will feel almost full pressure of the bite that can be quite uncomfortable with hard biting dogs.

Our suits come direct from Demanet Manufacturing Factory, located in Spain, and managed by Henryk Demanet himself. Demanet perfected his fabric, which has been tested for 20 years.
